Shaw Institute invites the public to a community update on its research and
programs, Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Downtown Blue Hill location, 55 Main Street,
Blue Hill.
Executive Director Charles Rolsky will share highlights from the past year, including the Institute’s
research on microplastics and human health, coastal Maine water-quality monitoring, and its new
collaboration with George Stevens Academy. Wine and cheese will be provided by Blue Hill Wine Shop.
Other non-alcoholic drinks and light refreshments will also be provided.
The event is free and open to the public.
While there is no cost to attend, pre-registration is kindly requested to help us accurately plan catering.
