Internships

Are you an undergraduate student or the family member of one, who is interested in environmental research? We may have an internship position open for you! 

The Shaw Institute’s Internship program runs from June through August. It is generally coordinated with universities such as Colby College, Bowdoin, and the University of New England, allowing students to secure research/course credit, funding, and housing arrangements directly through their home institution.

Summer interns work on a variety of projects, from coastal sampling to microplastics analysis. We expect to broaden these research topics to offer them a wider range of research projects.
