Plastic Pollution or Climate Change, Which Threat is Worse?

Charles Rolsky, Ph.D., and Executive Director and Senior Research Scientist at the Shaw Institute, will deliver an Earth Day Talk at the School of Marine and Environmental Programs, at the University of New England. Rolsky’s research background addresses plastic pollution in marine and terrestrial ecosystems as well as green chemistry and sustainable materials science. He currently researches links between environmental contamination and human health, which includes plastic pollution, PFAS chemicals, and other contaminants of concern. Rolsky mentors through a range of internship and educational opportunities at the Shaw Institute.
