Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition: Planet vs Plastics (part 1)

At 6:30 p.m., Dr. Charles Rolsky, executive director and senior research analyst of the Shaw Institute in Blue Hill, will talk about the impact of plastic pollution on the environment and what we can do to help. He will be preceded by Plastic Pollution Solutions, a BBWC committee working to decrease the use of single-use plastics, who will discuss their efforts. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. to view Earth Day posters created by area students. Light refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by the Belfast Free Library. The programs will be held in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library and are free and open to the public.
